Phoebe J. Courcy, LMT

ImagePhoebe’s intuition and ability to relax the body bring a truly unique healing experience to her clients. She attained her massage certification in 2004 from Sterling Health Center and has gained further education and experience in Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Reflexology, and Prenatal Massage. In 2006, she attained a Medical Massage Certification, which has allowed her to treat specific conditions as diagnosed by a physician, while reducing the pain and stress often associated with them.

Before entering the massage field, Phoebe concentrated on a degree in nursing, spending over 600 hours of hands on care in several area hospitals, as well as interning in an intensive care unit. Ultimately, she felt something missing in her life and found massage to be a more holistic approach to healing and a very rewarding career. Phoebe’s goal is to spread the knowledge of massage and bodywork’s effectiveness to other health care providers, and work to further recognize massage as a necessary treatment for improving patient’s overall physical and mental health.
